Every few days this web is rebuilt on my mailbox - not because I destroy it - but because the flies and bugs this spider catches damage the web. This well-fed spider (that I've never seen) just tears the old one down a new one goes up.

It was early morning as swimmers prepared to cross Keuka Lake for "Krossin' Keuka" a week ago. A gaggle of geese flew overhead as the first group was ferried out. I happened to catch it with my Fuji X-E5, with kit lens.

I took this photo years ago with a Sony A77 into a Minolta 70-210 beercan lens. I loved that rig. This location is directly across the canal from an old grain elevator in Buffalo NY, next to Gallagher Beach.
